【动画短片】蒂姆·伯顿作品：文森特 Vincent（1982）

　　 这是导演蒂姆·波顿早期的动画短片《Vincent》的立体三维形式。
　　《Vincent》最早问世在1982年，片长只有5分多钟，是蒂姆·波顿在迪斯尼的早期作品，讲的是一个叫Vincent的小男孩，幻想自己是一名著名的恐怖片演员，饰演将妻子活埋后不堪精神重负的凶手。现实与幻想不断交错形成戏剧张力，小男孩在自己幻想的爱伦·坡式结尾中“死去”。这个叫文森特的小男孩很孤独，他的脑子里充满了各式各样的古怪而新奇的念头，但却受到成人社会的压抑，他陷入到深深的孤独之中，活在冥想中那充满鬼怪的世界里。这部短片奠定了蒂姆·波顿以后动画电影的基调，包含了他标志性的所有元素和哥特式的风格。哥特式的电影场景，哥特式的狗，哥特式的孩子，恋尸癖，埋葬的新娘，所有的特征都表达的淋漓尽致。配音也呈现了蒂姆·波顿动画电影中人物特有的语言节奏。整个短片有着让人一见难忘的黑色狂想气氛。
　　影片已经具备了初步的蒂姆·波顿式的风格，阴郁、神秘、黑暗的氛围在每一个镜头中蔓延。《文森特》拍摄完成之后迪斯尼公司的高层认为这部作品恐怖、阴暗，不适宜儿童观看因而将之封杀。

Vincent Malloy is seven years old,  Vincent Malloy是个7岁的孩子，   

he's always polite and does what he's told.  他总是表现的很有礼貌并且听话。   

For a boy his age he's considerate and nice,  对于这个年纪的孩子来说，他很友好并且体谅他人，   

but he wants to be just like Vincent Price.  但是他希望自己成为 Vincent Price 那样的人。（注：Vincent Price，蒂姆·伯顿个人最喜欢的演员，曾参与其多部影片）   

He doesn't mind living with his sister dog and cats,  他并不介意和妹妹猫啊狗啊什么的生活在一起，   

though he would rather share a home with spiders and bats,  然而他更喜欢和蜘蛛啊蝙蝠啊混在一起，   

there he could reflect on the horrors he has invented,  在那儿他可以思考那些自己的一些发明，  
  
and wonder dark hallways alone and tormented.  黑暗的走廊中孤单的游荡并忍受着折磨。   

Vincent is nice when his aunt comes to see him,  姑妈看他的时候会很乖，   

but imagines dipping her in wax for his wax museum.  但是会幻想着把她扔到蜡水中来补充自己的蜡像馆。   

He likes to experiment on his dog Abercrombie,  他喜欢拿他的狗 Abercrombie 做试验。   

in the hopes of creating a horrible zombie.  希望能制造出一个恐怖的僵尸。   

So he and his horrible zombie dog,  那样的话他和他的恐怖僵尸狗，   

could go searching for victims in the London fog.  就可以在伦敦的浓雾中寻找一些受害者了。   

His thoughts though aren't only of gullish crime,  他的想像其实也不全是些罪恶的念头，   

he likes to paint and read to pass some of the time,  喜欢绘画，读书来消磨一些时间，   

While other kids read books like "Go Jane go",  当其他的孩子在读一些类似“简，加油”的书的时候，   

Vincent's favorite author is, Edgar Allen Poe. vincent 最喜欢的作者却是 Edgar Allen Poe（注：十九世纪的美国诗人、小说家和文学评论家）   

One night while reading a gruesome tale,  一天晚上他读到了一个可怕的故事，

he read a passage that made him turn pale,  那段话让他的脸色非常的苍白，   

such horrible news he could not survive,  那么的恐怖他觉得好像就要死了，   

for his beautiful wife had been buried alive.  他那美丽的妻子竟然是被活埋了。   

He dug out her grave to make sure she was dead, 他去拼命挖掘她的坟墓看她还活着吗，   

unaware that her grave was his mother's flower bed. 却并没有察觉到妻子的坟墓原来是妈妈的花坛。   

His mother send Vincent off to his room, 妈妈把 Vincent 送回了房间   

he knew he'd been banished to the tower of doom. 他明白自己是要被惩罚送进审判之塔。   

Where he was sentenced to spend the rest of his life, 会被判决在那儿呆一辈子的，   

alone with the portrait of his beautiful wife. 而陪伴他的只有自己美丽妻子的画像。   

While alone and insane incased in his tomb, 孤独和发疯包围着他的坟墓，   

Vincent's mother burst suddenly into the room. Vincent 的妈妈突然闯了进来。   

She said "If you want to, you can go out and play, 她说“如果你愿意，可以去外面玩耍，   

It's sunny outside and beautiful day." 外边阳光这么好，真是多么好的一天啊。”   

Vincent tried to talk but he just couldn't speak, Vincent想说什么东西却说不出话来，   

the years of isolation had made him quite weak. 多年的与世隔绝使他很虚弱。   

So he took out some paper and scrawled with a pen; 他拿出些纸，用笔在上面乱写着什么；   

I'm possessed by this house and can never leave it again. 我好像着了魔一样被这个房子缠住了再也出不去了。

His mother said: "You are not possessed and you are 妈妈说：“你没有着了魔也不是快要死了，   

not almost dead, these games that you play are all in your head, 你玩的这些游戏都是你脑袋里想出来的，  
  
you are not Vincent Price you're Vincent Malloy, 你不是 Vincent Price 你是 Vincent Malloy   

you're not tormented or insane you're just a young boy,  你没有什么痛苦也没有发疯，你只是一个小孩子啊，   

you're seven years old and you are my son, 你才只有7岁是我的儿子，   

I want you to get outside and have some real fun." 我想你应该到外边去感受一下真正的快乐。”   

Her anger now spent she walked out through the hall, 她怒气冲冲的走出去，   

while Vincent back slowly against the wall... Vincent这时靠着墙慢慢的回过身......   

The room started to sway to shiver in crick, 房子突然开始摇晃，颤动，   

his horrored insanity had reached it's peak. 这使他的恐惧到达了顶点。   

He saw Abercrombie his zombie slave, 他看到了他的僵尸奴隶Abercrombie，   

and heard his wife call form beyond the grave; 还听到了他的妻子在坟墓中的喊声；   

She spoke from her coffin and made goullish demands, 那是来自棺材里厉鬼般的声音，   

will through cracking walls reached skeleton hands 并从破碎的墙壁上把她的骷髅手臂伸了进来。   

Every horror in his life that had crept through his dreams, 从前经常在他梦里蔓延的所有恐惧出现在了现实里，  
  
swap his mad laughter to terrified screams. 把他发疯的笑声变成了可怕的尖叫。   

To escape the badness he reached for door, 他挣扎着想要逃出这个房间，   

but fell limp and lifeless down, on the floor. 却发现迈不开脚步无力的倒在了地板上。   

His voice was soft and very slow, 他的声音非常柔和缓慢，
   
as he quoted "The Raven" from Edgar Allen Poe; 想着 Edgar Allen Poe 的“乌鸦”；   

“and my soul from out that shadow  that lies floating on the floor,   

shall be lifted ？ -- nevermore." “我的灵魂，会从那团在地板上漂浮的阴暗中被擢升么？永不复还！”
