感觉稍微有点奇特的歌，唱腔反而像是背景，伴奏的管弦乐像是在编织一场梦境，充满悲伤与回忆。

此曲原唱为著名摇滚乐队 Dire Straits 1985 年的一首反战作品，专辑亦是以此曲命名。Brothers In Arms 一词在大部份时候泛指士兵或战友，歌词就是一名士兵在战场上濒死时对战友的说话。
